Peacock Feather Vessel - Raku

This peacock feather motif was inspired by and based upon Japanese and Art Nouveau design. The design was incised into the clay when it was "leatherhard" then later glazed using seven different colored glazes. The outer design is offset by a beautiful bold crackling of the glaze on the interior of the pot.
