Magnolia Grandflora - Raku Vessel

This design was inspired by nature and our village: Magnolia Springs.
The Magnolia Grand Flora is one of the varieties of this tree that grows so splendidly here throughout the south. The design was incised into the clay when it was "leatherhard" then later glazed using seven different colored glazes.
