Ginko Biloba Motif Vessel - Raku

This ginko biloba motif was inspired by and based upon Japanese and Art Nouveau design. The design was incised into the clay when it was "leatherhard" then later glazed using five different colors typical of the Arts & Crafts period. The outer design is offset by a beautiful bold crackling of the glaze on the interior of the pot.
