Potters of Japan

Someone the first part of this video series by Peeler Ceramic Art Films, on Facebook and I thought I would share it here as well.  I’m not sure what date these originally came out, but they kind of look like they’re from the 60s or earlier.  I love seeing these older pottery documentaries and hope you do too.

    Facinating! I love videos of Japanese potters at work, I think its interesting to see different methods of working. They all add to the creative mix!

      I totally agree. :) That’s what I liked about these videos, they looked at a variety of studios and working methods. .. important that these traditions are documented and not lost.
